Lesson for a Lifetime

I was new to Bangalore city it was my first time to travel alone. I had an Interview scheduled at around 11am in Kormangala. I got down from the bus at the bus stop and walked in search of the Office. I missed the location and went in opposite direction. So, I decided to ask a guy who was standing near a shop for address. He guided me; to go right and walk for 5minutes and take a left at 10th crossroad you will find a lord Shiva temple, take a right there and enter in the 1st main and 5th building will be the office. So, following his directions, I set out in the search of the office, but after a few moments I realized that the guy who gave me the directions was following me very closely. I was terrified and started pacing fast, he was also walking very fast. So, I ran and ran till I came across an ATM and luckily, I met the security officer. I rushed to him and explained him the entire incident, he came to my rescue and as soon as the guy saw me along with the security, he ran away, even though the security followed him for a distance, that guy fled from our sight.
Then the security asked me where I was going. Then I showed him the address and he guided me correctly and asked me to take an Auto, as I had come in the opposite direction.
This was the lesson I learned for lifetime, never to trust strangers. If you get stuck somewhere, it’s better to ask security, Traffic Police and shopkeepers only. In short,” Never believe Strangers”.

Love Story

In a small town of India, there lived a teenage girl named Shravani. She was bold and beautiful. She was staying with her Aunt's family. Her Aunt used to treat her like her own daughter. When Shravani was born, her Aunt had taken a promise from her Dad, "I will take your daughter as a wife to my son." And Shravani's dad was delighted and promised her. Unaware of the promise, Shravani was in her own dream world, thinking that one day a Prince charming will come on a white horse and take her away to his world. Shravani was a different girl, she would speak out whatever would come into her mind. One day when she was in her college, she was having lunch with her friends in an open ground and after that they all went back to their classes. Shravani's Maths notebook was missing. She checked all her friend's bags, but she did not find her book, then she decided to take a new notebook and complete the notes. Next day again the same thing repeated and she lost h...

Everything happens for a reason

Everything happens for a reason I observed him carefully as he walked to the door. I knew that time was running out but suppressed the urge to check my watch. I took a deep breath and started counting in reverse under my breath. "Ten, nine, eight, seven...”, then i started praying to God, to save that stranger’s life. May be that stranger’s mother or wife or a cute little daughter were not even aware of the situation. It was 21 st January 2013, Monday morning around 10 am in Mumbai, a heavy traffic time and everyone was rushing to their offices, even I was one among them, I had an appointment with the Chief Secretary of Mantralaya. To get this appointment I had struggled for nearly one month, but this opportunity was also missed because of a terrible road accident. I was waiting at the traffic signal, and man in his early 30’s who was well dressed was crossing the road on a zebra crossing, and suddenly, a bike fellow in high speed hit that  innocent man, a...
